Jay T. Schramek Artistic Producer

Jay T. Schramek  has worked as a contractor for trade shows, new product launches and impact event marketing.  Having grown up in a trade show family, his knowledge and understanding of conferences & trade shows spans across industrial, commercial and retail sectors.  He worked extensively in creative event planning for Princess Cruises as an Assistant Cruise Director.  Jay implemented guerilla marketing for the Mike’s Hard Lemonade Assault Squad. 

As a professional performer he has worked on stage for Mirvish Productions, Stratford Festival, Clearchannel, Stage West, Drayton Entertainment, and the Charlottetown Festival. 

On TV, he has appeared in shows for the CBC, Bravo, Showtime, and YTV. 

Jay's done commercials for Aleve, Rogers, Proctor & Gamble, Bell Mobility, Kellogg’s and the Ontario Lottery Corporation. 

His voice has been used by Pfizer, Air Transat and Nissan. 

Currently he is the voice of Blinky the Penguin on the new Discovery Kids cartoon Willa's Wild Life.  He is the voice of Satoru Kakuta on Slam Dunk and is the sinister double-agent Tad on the animated feature film Totally Spies:The Movie.

He has hosted and performed in events for Ontario Toyota Dealers, Shoppers Drug Mart, Sunquest, GM, Dforce, Footloose Dance Championships, Hunter Dickenson Corporation and the Ontario Hospital Association. 

Jay is a graduate of Ryerson Theatre School.  He is a member of American Actors Equity Association, ACTRA, an Advisory Councillor for Canadian Actors Equity Association and is a member of the Canadian Association of Exposition Management.
